Scott Future from Muscle and Fitness recently write an article to shed light on some of the top most bold, empowering women ever to influence the world of WWE. Nia Jax was one of the many on the list ranking at number 10. See what they had to say below

Nia Jax

“I’m not like most girls” is the opening line to Nia Jax’s entrance music. Indeed, the former model is proving to be a massive hit both on Monday Night RAW and social media in general.

As the WWE women’s division grows, so too does a need for the representation of all different body shapes. Jax often posts images of herself in evening wear, or in a bikini, posing next to her smaller WWE counterparts. With more than 850,000 social media followers, this future Women’s Champion is showing the world that beauty comes in all different shapes and sizes.Meet some of the most bold, empowering women ever to influence the world of WWE

6 Coolest Moments From Survivor Series 2017

Nia Jax and Tamina keep it in the family

Nia Jax warned, in advance of the Women’s Survivor Series Match, that there would be no quarter given to her SmackDown counterpart Tamina, despite the shared ties of their heritage. She made good on that ominous declaration, too, going head-to-head with Tamina in a confrontation that brought the WWE Universe to its feet. It also brought Nia to her knees. A bombardment of superkicks and a few assists from Tamina’s Team Blue running mates ended in a count-out loss for Jax. Round two should be interesting.

Superstars Pick Survivor Series Dream Teams: 2017
Published by: |   (0) Comments      Read MORE      Filed Under: Articles

Whether it’s a battle for brand supremacy or a war to settle a score, Superstars come together every Survivor Series to form surprising teams. After 30 years, we’ve seen some unforgettable squads, but who would Superstars have on their side if they could recruit any four competitors from WWE history? We asked nine Superstars to reveal who they want on their dream team.

Team Nia Jax

Nia Jax did not need a second to pick her first partners: Andre the Giant and The Rock. “It would be pretty cool to look up and see those two wanting to come in to help me,” she said. Jax also added two Women’s Champions, including Bull Nakano, who reigned as WWE Women’s Champion in 1994. “She’s a legit bada**, and I like to mirror myself after her.” And although current Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss is much smaller than the other members of Team Nia, Jax knows she would step up because “she likes to be bossy; she likes to be in charge.”

Nia Jax Put A Major Plus-Size Myth To Rest
Published by: |   (0) Comments      Read MORE      Filed Under: Articles

Earlier this month Nia took part in the Dia&Co fashion runway where she was able to model for the Dia&Co and attend their weekend festivities. During the Dia&Co weekend function, Natalie Hage was able to interview Nia. Read below to see what she had to say about the encounter. You can also watch the interview below.

“This week, I got the chance to meet one of my favorite public figures: professional wrestler and plus-size model Nia Jax.

I had never really paid much attention to wrestling (especially women’s wrestling) because I felt so removed from the women on the show. Sure, they were powerful and talented … but I couldn’t make that personal connection. Then, I laid eyes on Nia. This stunningly beautiful plus-size woman walked down the ramp toward the ring, hopped in, and absolutely kicked butt. She was respected, she was celebrated, and she was plus-size while doing it. My entire heart swelled. I had never seen someone like Nia, and honestly, I cried.

When I heard that not only would she be at theCURVYcon, but that I would get to watch her walk the runway and get to interview her, I lost it.  On the runway, her presence is electric. She’s commanding without saying a word, and every step she took down the runway was strong, beautiful, and powerful. When I met her later on, I knew that I would ask her about her feelings about being plus-size, and I had no idea that I would get so much more than that. She was so powerful and strong in a completely different way than her heel character. She gave wonderful advice for other people (all people, not just plus-size people) on how to feel great in your skin.

She let us into her personal life by talking about how her cousin, Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson, constantly encourages her to be confident and comfortable in her body no matter what. In fact, just the night before, he had tweeted out a Yahoo Lifestyle article about Nia’s runway debut.

Jax shared that even Johnson had struggled in the past with confidence in his signature stature because he looked different. She talked about dispelling myths, and fashion rules that plus-size women are expected to follow. For Nia, it was stripes. She wore stripes on the runway on purpose and laid that notion right to rest.

It was so unexpected to hear from someone so beautiful and strong that they’ve felt the same uneasy feelings that we all have. I can’t tell you how comforting it was.

At the end of the conversation, she told me that she loved our talk because it was so natural. I was flattered, of course, but especially because it’s something we have in common. WWE fans adore Nia because she’s a pillar of unapologetic strength. I hope to inspire people the way that Nia does every day, and it’s pretty epic when your idols are exactly what you wanted them to be.”

Nia Jax (Real Name: Savelina Fanene)

Nia Jax’s entrance music has lyrics that indicate she is not like most girls, and from the moment you see her, you know this to be true. Jax stands 6 feet tall, using her power and strength to dominate those who dare come in her way. The 33-year-old is a member of the famed Anoa’i family, the same bloodline that so many Samoan pro wrestlers, including Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson (who is Jax’s cousin) share. She comes from a college basketball background and a career in plus-size modeling. Her social media posts look to inspire other women to feel empowered and to feel comfortable in their own skin. Jax is best friends with Bliss, as the two bonded during their days in NXT. They are so inseparable that the two even refer to themselves as Team Rude, collectively.
